Timothy Olyphant’s New Look Suggests His Return To The ‘Star Wars’ Universe

Timothy Olyphant’s new scruffy look suggests he’s going to be returning to the ever-expanding Star Wars universe sometime soon.

One of the breakthrough characters from the second season of The Mandalorian, Timothy Olyphant’s Cobb Vanth is best remembered as the town’s marshall who possesses Bobba Fett’s armor. By the end of his one-episode appearance, Vanth hands over Fett’s armor to The Mandalorian, and both end on good terms as the latter continues on his mission. The relatively optimistic ending between the two players always implied that Vanth would return to the Star Wars franchise one way or another.

While there has been a bevy of Star Wars shows that have been announced for Disney Plus, none have officially indicated that Timothy Olyphant’s Cobb Vanth is set to return. However, eagle-eyed fans of the actor noticed that the normally clean-shaven actor was recently seen sporting a beard not too dissimilar from the one he was rocking in The Mandalorian. It’s entirely possible that Olyphant is set to return to the Star Wars universe, with an appearance possibly in The Book of Bobba Fett, Rangers of the New Republic, or the third season of The Mandalorian.
