Principal photography on The Flash film is finally happening overseas in the U.K. On day one of filming, director Andy Muschietti unveiled the DC film’s title art with a look at Ezra Miller in action as the Scarlet Speedster potentially on the horizon. So far, we’ve only gotten a look at the return of Wayne Manor from Michael Keaton’s Batman, thanks to some set photos.

During DC FanDome, Andy Muschietti confirmed Ezra Miller will be sporting a new suit in The Flash that Bruce Wayne will create. The new suit was glimpsed in concept art and is far more comic-accurate than what he wore in Justice League. On Instagram, digital artist Datrinti emulated the look from The Flash concept art, and you can take a look at it below:

Directed by Andy Muschietti from a script written by Birds of Prey scribe Christina Hodson, The Flash will be inspired by the Flashpoint comic storyline, which followed The Flash as he navigated an altered DC Universe. Written by Geoff Johns and penciled by Andy Kuber, Flashpoint radically altered the status of the DC Comics universe and led to the launch of the New 52 titles. It is currently unknown how much inspiration the upcoming Ezra Miller film will take from the comic.

The Flash is set to hit theaters on June 3, 2022. Stay tuned for all the latest news on the DC Extended Universe, and be sure to subscribe to Heroic Hollywood’s YouTube channel for more exclusive video content in the future!
