A new behind-the-scenes photo from The Falcon and The Winter Soldier shows Anthony Mackie as Captain America.
The sixth and final episode of the Disney Plus series The Falcon and The Winter Soldier saw Anthony Mackie’s Sam Wilson suiting up as Captain America after inheriting the mantle during the closing moments of the Marvel Studios epic Avengers: Endgame. With the series now fully wrapped up, Mackie has dropped a never-before-seen photo of himself in full costume as Captain America.
Last night, Anthony Mackie took to his official Instagram page to share the behind-the-scenes photo from The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, with the Captain America actor using the caption to thank everyone who watched the Disney Plus series over the past few weeks. Check out the photo below.
A fourth Captain America movie focusing on Anthony Mackie’s Sam Wilson is currently in development at Marvel Studios, with The Falcon and The Winter Soldier executive producer Malcolm Spellman co-writing the script with Dalan Musson. No director is currently attached to the project.
