There’s just over a year to go until The Flash hurtles into theaters, but director Andy Muschietti has revealed the first logo for the solo film. In recent news, the Ezra Miller film replaced Billy Crudup with Ron Livingston in the role of Henry Allen due to scheduling issues, while also bringing on Maribel Verdú to play Barry Allen’s mother, Nora Allen.

It’s taken a long time for The Flash to get off the ground, but director Andy Muschietti took to Instagram to reveal that they’ve started production. He shared the first official logo for the film which also teases the Scarlet Speedster’s new costume. It shows his iconic gold and yellow lightning bolt logo against the red suit, while electricity flows across it. The Ezra Miller film will also see Ben Affleck and Michael Keaton return to play their respective Batmen, while Sasha Calle recently joined the project as the DC Extended Universe’s Supergirl. Take a look at The Flash logo below.

What do you make of The Flash logo? Do you like the tease of his new suit in the artwork? What do you want to see from the Andy Muschietti film? Sound-off in the comments below!

Plot details for The Flash are currently unknown. Michael Keaton and Ben Affleck will return as their respective Batmen and guide Barry on this journey inspired by Geoff John’s Flashpoint. Kiersey Clemons will reprise her role as Iris West in the film and Maribel Verdú is set to play Nora Allen.

Directed by Andy Muschietti from a script written by Birds of Prey scribe Christina Hodson, The Flash will be inspired by the Flashpoint comic storyline which followed The Flash as he navigated an altered DC Universe. Written by Geoff Johns and penciled by Andy Kuber, Flashpoint radically altered the status of the DC Comics universe and led to the launch of the New 52 titles. It is currently unknown how much inspiration the upcoming Ezra Miller film will take from the comic.

The Flash is set to hit theaters on June 3rd, 2022. Stay tuned for all the latest news on Ezra Miller’s The Flash and be sure to subscribe to Heroic Hollywood’s YouTube channel for more exclusive video content.
