The Wii is still out in front.
The latest NPD data has revealed “total lifetime dollar sales” of Switch hardware in the US has now surpassed the Nintendo DS.
This apparently makes the system the second “best-selling” Nintendo platform “in tracked history” within the country. The Wii is still in the top spot. Overall, this makes Nintendo’s latest hybrid system the seventh best-selling video game hardware of all-time in the US (no figures were provided).
