The Crown’s Emma Corrin Has the Most Perfect London Street Style

It’s easy to fall into the trap of associating an actor’s style (or even personality) with the character they play on television. In the case of Emma Corrin and her spot-on portrayal of Princess Diana in the latest season of The Crown, I’d been guilty of doing just that. That is until I saw recent street style images of the burgeoning star and realised she has a chic personal style all of her own.

Featuring a mix of tailored trousers, oversize trench coats, checked shackets, and chunky boots, Corrin has the kind of wardrobe every London girl would happily raid. And considering it features brands such as JW Anderson and Stine Goya, it’s doubly intriguing.

The star has made a habit of appearing in stylish ensembles while walking around London with her adorable puppy (who I’ll have you know was once dogsat by Harry Styles). Corrin’s looks are often warm and practical, featuring sturdy, flat shoes and plenty of layers but never lacking in the style stakes. It’s the perfect combination for wintry lockdown walks. Keep scrolling to see four of Corrin’s most recent looks and to shop key pieces below.

Style Notes: Out for a walk with coffee in hand, Corrin opted for a relaxed jeans-and-jacket look featuring wide-leg blue jeans and a check shacket.

Style Notes: Knowing how to layer with style, here, Corrin embraces one of winter’s biggest trends—the knit vest—and pairs the item alongside a roll-neck, tailored trousers, and an off-white jacket.

Style Notes: Showing her flair for fashion, Corrin is pictured here in a JW Anderson trench coat featuring a contrast check lapel and puff-sleeve silhouette.

Style Notes: On this day, Corrin opted for a check jacket by Stine Goya alongside navy trousers and Nike sneakers.
