No word on a Western release date at this time.
It’s been some time since we last heard about Marvelous’ anticipated Rune Factory 5. Previously due to launch in 2020, we received gameplay footage last September of the upcoming RPG simulation game – but that also brought news of a delay, pushing it back to 2021. We’d not heard anything since, but Marvelous has now confirmed Rune Factory 5 is releasing in Japan on May 20th.
As part of this launch, it has also revealed a “Premium Box” limited edition, which costs ¥9,980 / $95 / £70. That will include Rune Factory 5 for Switch, a special box, visual book, Memorial Soundtrack Selection, and a “Rune Factory 4 Bachelorette / Bachelor Costume Set” as DLC.
