New Jersey Sports Betting Tops Nevada

As the economic free fall continues for the gambling industry amidst the Coronavirus pandemic, New Jersey sports betting has finally overtaken Nevada as leader of the American market. New Jersey’s total handle was over $6 billion last year, while Nevada sports gambling took in only $4.3 billion in 2020. Nevada regulators cited the coronavirus pandemic for the falling revenue.
