Avengers Endgame Thanos Josh Brolin Captain America Chris Evans Robert Downey Jr EternalsThanos creator Jim Starlin thinks the mad titan will make a return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe in Eternals.

Despite Thanos dying twice in Avengers: Endgame, there’s still a chance that he could return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe in some capacity. Since Marvel Studios is opening up the multiverse, we could be introduced to an alternate version of Thanos at some point. We could also get a glimpse into Thanos’ past as a member of the Eternals.

Eternals is said to cover thousands of years, which makes the film a likely place for where we could see Thanos’ return given his comic book history. Thanos creator Jim Starlin recently appeared on ComicBook.com’s Phase Zero podcast and shared that he believes Thanos will return:

“I think they are. They made a truck of money off of and I believe I’ve heard some rumors that he’s coming back in different things. The first I think I’ve heard confirmed from Marvel Studios, he’s going to be in at least a guest appearance inside the Eternals. So he’s going to be around.”
