Vera Farmiga teased her mystery role in Jeremy Renner’s Hawkeye with a new video from the set of the upcoming Disney Plus show.

With production currently underway on the Hawkeye Disney Plus series, fans are excited to see a whole bunch of new characters being introduced into the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Obviously, Hailee Steinfeld’s Kate Bishop is the top of that list, but many are also intrigued to see how The Departed and Bates Motel star Vera Farmiga plays into the series. But a recent set video posted by the star offers a better look at her role.

Vera Farmiga originally posted the short video to her Instagram story, which then quickly surfaced online thanks to @BRMarvelNews on Twitter. It shows the star dressed in a purple outfit, although it’s not quite as tactical as Kate Bishop’s look. It seems likely that Farmiga is playing Bishop’s mother, although that’s yet to be confirmed. Given how previous set videos revealed more about Hawkeye, hopefully we’ll see more about the series as production continues. Take a look at Vera Farmiga teasing her role in the Jeremy Renner series below.
