Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige recently shared how long a few of their upcoming Disney Plus will be and explained the reason behind their different runtimes.
Over the weekend, various critics received screeners for the first three episodes of WandaVision. In addition to the first reactions to Marvel Studios’ first television series, we also learned how long the episodes will be. When The Mandalorian first premiered on Disney Plus, many viewers were shocked and disappointed when a few episodes were around 30 minutes long. WandaVision will be just as short with the first three episodes averaging 30 minutes.
However, Marvel Studios’ Kevin Feige explained to Collider that not every Marvel Studios show for Disney Plus will have short episodes like WandaVision. In fact, Feige went onto reveal where a few of the other shows will fall runtime wise:
“Well, we’re looking a little differently. We’re looking at it as developing them as either six hour-episodes, or nine or 10 half-hour episodes. So, for instance, WandaVision started that way and Falcon and the Winter Soldier as 30 minutes, but because it’s streaming, it’s Disney+, and the rules have blurred over the years, yes. Some can be 23 minutes. Some can be much longer than that. But She-Hulk, for instance, is being developed as 10 30-minute episodes. Some will be longer and some will be shorter. Loki, Falcon and the Winter Soldier is being developed as six 40-50-minute episodes.”
Kevin Feige later added that the upcoming Moon Knight series will be more like Loki and The Falcon and the Winter Soldier with a 40-50 minute episode runtime.

Kevin Feige has said that the series will lead into the feature film Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.
