With just a few days to go until WandaVision finally arrives on our screens, Disney has confirmed that fans will be treated to a full two episode premiere of the upcoming series. Many Marvel fans are excited to see how the series leads into future projects in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, especially since Elizabeth Olsen will reprise her role as Scarlet Witch in the Doctor Strange sequel alongside Benedict Cumberbatch. Unfortunately the actress recently confirmed that production has paused on the Sorcerer Supreme’s sequel due to the current UK lockdown.

Disney confirmed the WandaVision news in a press release, and since Marvel fans haven’t had any new content from Phase 4 in the last year it seems like the company is treating its audience to a bumper premiere to make up for that fact. Elizabeth Olsen recently revealed the first full clip from WandaVision, which leans into the heavily stylised sitcom reality that Wanda Maximoff has seemingly made for herself.

What do you make of the two episode premiere for WandaVision? Are you excited to see Elizabeth Olsen return as Scarlet Witch in the Disney Plus series? Sound-off in the comments below!

Here is the official synopsis for WandaVision:

Marvel Studios’ “WandaVision” blends the style of classic sitcoms with the Marvel Cinematic Universe in which Wanda Maximoff (Elizabeth Olsen) and Vision (Paul Bettany)—two super-powered beings living their ideal suburban lives—begin to suspect that everything is not as it seems.

Directed by Matt Shakman with Jac Schaeffer as head writer, WandaVision stars Elizabeth Olsen as Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch, Paul Bettany as The Vision, Teyonah Parris as Monica Rambeau, Kat Dennings as Darcy Lewis, Randall Park as Agent Jimmy Woo, and Kathryn Hahn in an undisclosed role. Kevin Feige has said that the series will lead into the feature film Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.

WandaVision is set to premiere January 15, 2021 on Disney Plus. Stay tuned for all the latest news on WandaVision and be sure to subscribe to Heroic Hollywood’s YouTube channel for more original content!
