A new image sees Taron Egerton replacing Hugh Jackman as Wolverine by donning a tactical version of the classic yellow suit.
The future of Mutants in the Marvel Cinematic Universe is a little uncertain for the moment, although Kevin Feige previously confirmed the X-Men will eventually make their debut on the big screen once again, but a new image shows off Taron Egerton wearing a stunning tactical suit to play Wolverine. Replacing Hugh Jackman in his most iconic role would be difficult for any star, but the design from BossLogic reveals a formidable look for the Kingsman and Rocketman actor.
While Hugh Jackman never got to don the classic yellow and blue suit which is synonymous with Wolverine, BossLogic gives Taron Egerton a modern version of the costume featuring some brilliant details. One notable inclusion is the small ‘X’ logo on his chest, which is a minimal addition but works quite well with the tone of the design. Back in 2019, Egerton said he was baffled by the rumors that he was replacing Hugh Jackman as Wolverine, but he didn’t dismiss the idea either.
