Thor: Ragnarok star Rachel House recently shared that she doesn’t think Topaz will be making a return in Taika Waititi’s Love and Thunder.
Taika Waititi is about to return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe for Thor: Love and Thunder before he moves over to his Star Wars project. Filming for Thor: Love and Thunder is set to begin soon in Australia and many involved with the project have already teased the sequel’s epic scale and large ensemble. So far, we know that several MCU characters will appear, but it’s unclear how many of the characters that were introduced in Ragnarok will also be featured.
In Thor: Ragnarok, Taikia Waititi brought many of his sensibilities to the Marvel Cinematic Universe along with frequent collaborators like Rachel House as Topaz. The last time we saw House’s Topaz, she crashed her ship as Thor and the other heroes escaped Sakaar. During a recent interview with The Movie Dweeb, House seemed pretty confident that she will not return as Topz for Love and Thunder:
“I think she’s gone-ers…I’m almost 100% sure that Topaz will not be seen again…I’m about 99.9% sure that I will not be in the next Thor.”
