A new image shows Charlie Hunnam strapping on an impressive tactical suit as Green Arrow for the DCEU.
With the DC Extended Universe pushing forward with a focus on telling smaller stories with singular heroes, many fans wonder which other costumed vigilantes will make the jump to the big screen. Thanks to Arrow‘s popularity, there’s always been an ongoing question on whether DC will give Green Arrow his own solo movie in the DCEU. And it seems like there’s only one rightful candidate for the role. Unfortunately for Stephen Amell, Charlie Hunnam is who comic readers want to see as the Emerald Archer in Star City.
The current future of the hero lies in the Green Arrow and The Canaries series which is still in development at The CW. It sees Oliver Queen’s daughter, Mia Queen, take on the mantle after her father’s death during Crisis on Infinite Earths. But if Charlie Hunnam does get a shot at the Green Arrow role for the DCEU, saarukan.psd on Instagram has already created an ideal look for the star. The image gives Hunnam a tactical battle suit for the hero, which looks like it takes some cues from Christian Bale’s Batman suit in Christopher Nolan’s trilogy.
