‘The Witcher’ Continues Filming After Henry Cavill Injured On Set

The Witcher Henry Cavill Geralt Netflix

The Witcher Henry Cavill Geralt NetflixHenry Cavill recently injured himself on set of Netflix’s The Witcher, but the minor accident hasn’t stopped production.

The Witcher continues to push on through production even after Henry Cavill was recently injured when going through a scene which saw the star being suspended 20 feet in the air in a safety harness. Recent photos from the set revealed a look at an intriguing scene between Anya Chalotra’s Yennefer, Eamon Farren’s Cahir and Mahesh Jadu’s Vilgefortz. But the star behind Geralt of Rivia has had to take a break from filming until he recovers from his injury.

A new report from The Sun in the United Kingdom revealed that the star suddenly “pulled up’’ when working on an assault course on the set. The publication’s source noted that it wasn’t clear how Henry Cavill had injured himself, or which part of his leg was hurt – but it was severe enough that he can’t walk properly. Although filming hasn’t stopped on the series, the schedule is said to be messed up. It’s yet another disruption that Netflix has had to deal with after the initial pandemic shutdown.

“He was on an assault course and injured his leg. He just suddenly pulled up and was clearly in a lot of pain. It wasn’t clear if an object had hit his leg or it was some sort of hamstring or muscle injury. It wasn’t bad enough to need an ambulance but it’s messed up the filming schedule as he can’t walk properly.’’
