‘The Mandalorian’ Officially Introduces Temuera Morrison As Boba Fett

Boba Fett Temuera Morrison The Mandalorian s2After several teases that the legendary bounty hunter would return, The Mandalorian just officially introduced Temuera Morrison as Boba Fett.

WARNING! SPOILERS AHEAD FOR THE MANDALORIAN SEASON 2.

It’s been an incredible season of The Mandalorian so far, with emotionally compelling episodes and fan-favorite character introductions. And although plenty of rumors surfaced suggesting Temuera Morrison was coming back to the Star Wars universe to play Boba Fett (after playing Jango Fett in Attack of the Clones) the latest episode saw him don the iconic green armor. We’d briefly seen the actor at the end of the first episode, as (well as Timothy Olyphant wearing the suit) and although the implication was there, it wasn’t confirmed who the mysterious cloaked figure was.

But when Din Djarin landed on the planet Tython to take Baby Yoda/Grogu to the former-Jedi temple, he was followed by an iconic ship, the Slave I. As soon as the ship entered the atmosphere it became clear where the show was heading. And after a brief standoff, Temuera Morrison strapped on the Boba Fett armor and teamed up with Djarin to fight off a squad of Stormtroopers alongside Fennec Shand. After years of speculation from fans that Jango Fett wasn’t a pure Mandalorian, the series also revealed that he was originally a Foundling, adopted by the warriors of Mandalore. Take a look at Temuera Morrison as Boba Fett in The Mandalorian below.
