Henry Cavill’s ‘The Witcher’ Reportedly Adds Queen Meve For Season 2

The Witcher Queen Meve Henry Cavill

The Witcher Queen Meve Henry CavillQueen Meve has seemingly been cast for The Witcher season two as production is still underway on the Henry Cavill series.

It seems a younger version of Queen Meve is heading to the Continent for season two of The Witcher alongside Henry Cavill in the Netflix series. Redanian Intelligence has once again reported on the latest addition to the series, revealing that fans might be surprised at how old Queen Meve will be when she makes her debut on the show. Most recently fans got a look at Yennefer alongside Vilgefortz and Cahir in set photos from the Henry Cavill fantasy epic.

But the new report from the site says 26 year-old Scottish actress Rebecca Hanssen will play Queen Meve in the series. Given that in the original source material, the character has two adult sons fans might be surprised that Meve is a little younger in The Witcher season two. But casting younger means the actress will be able play the Queen for multiple seasons and show how she changes over the years. So it’s not impossible that Hanssen will also appear in future seasons depending how the Henry Cavill translates her story from the screen to the page.

What do you think of the reported casting? Will Queen Meve make a good addition to Henry Cavill’s The Witcher? Sound-off in the comments below!
