Congressional Democrats yesterday called Federal Communications Commission Chairman Ajit Pai to”immediately cease work on most sexist, contentious things” in appreciation of Joe Biden’s election success on President Donald Trump.

It’s been normal practice to stop controversial rulemakings at the interval between an election and inauguration when management of the White House switches from Republicans to Democrats or vice versa. At November 2016, Pai himself predicted on then-Chairman Tom Wheeler into”stop additional action on contentious items throughout the transition interval.” Wheeler appeared one day after .

But things might be different this time, since Trump is contesting the election despite Biden’s obvious success and making baseless allegations that the election was discharged by Democrats. The Trump government has denied to officially start the presidential elections and has allegedly continued funding preparation along with vetting candidates for job openings as though there’ll be a next Trump term. To obey Democrats’ petition to the FCC, Pai would effectively need to concede Trump’s defeat before Trump himself.
