As taxpayers anxiously await the outcomes of this 2020 U.S. presidential election, 1 thing is sure: Democratic Party nominee Joe Biden has more votes than any presidential candidate from U.S. history.

President Donald Trump, on the other hand, has gained approximately 67 million votes, and the AP stated.

However, such a landmark doesn’t directly interpret getting another U.S. president. Neither Biden nor even Trump has obtained the required 270 electoral votes necessary to file for success.

After winning Michigan, among those so-called “Blue Wall” countries that have come to be especially critical in the presidential elections, Biden currently has made 264 electoral votes, according to the AP.

Earlier on Wednesday,” Biden confessed his momentum in a media conference, however, he didn’t declare success.

“We think if the count is completed we all ’ll be the winner,” Biden said.

The 2020 presidential elections has caused the greatest voter turnout in more than a century, according to the nonpartisan U.S. Elections Project. On its site, the company said that there were around 160 million votes throw in this election, a lot of which originated from young Americans who seem to be voting in record amounts.

Americans throw roughly 139 million full votes from 2016.
