Apple is stepping up attempts to develop its search engine as US antitrust authorities sabotage multibillion-dollar obligations that Google creates to procure prime positioning of its motor to the iPhone.

At a little-noticed switch to the most recent edition of this iPhone operating platform, iOS 14, Apple has now started to demonstrate its search results and connect directly to sites when users form inquiries from the home display.

That internet search capacity marks a significant progress in Apple’s in-house improvement and might form the basis of a fuller assault on Google, according to a number of folks in the business.
