SpaceX Starlink public beta Starts: It Is $99 per month and $500 up front

SpaceX has started sending email invitations to Starlink’s public beta and also will bill beta users 99 a month and a one-time charge of $499 for your consumer terminal, mounting gadget, plus router. The mails have been sent to individuals who already registered interest from the service to the Starlink site . 1 man in Washington state that obtained the email submitted it around Reddit. Another man who resides in Wisconsin obtained the Starlink public-beta invite and handed the details together to Ars through email.

SpaceX is calling it the”Better Than Nothing” beta, but maybe partially because the Starlink satellite support will probably be useful to folks who are unable to get fiber or cable. However, the email also states,”As you could tell from the name, we’re attempting to reduce your initial expectations”
