Superman and Lois is the latest new show in the Arrowverse from The CW, and work begins on the series sooner than expected according to Lois Lane actress, Elizabeth Tulloch. The series follows the Man of Steel and the intrepid reporter as they navigate life as a family while Clark battles to keep the world safe. Most recently Tulloch explained that by giving the duo a set of twins to deal with, the Superman mythos is changed like we’ve never seen in live-action before.

Elizabeth Tulloch has once again made another reveal regarding Superman and Lois, this time telling fans on Instagram, “screen tests today, tomorrow green screen stuff, and officially start next week.” After Crisis on Infinite Earths made significant changes to the Arrowverse, Tyler Hoechlin’s Superman was confused to learn that he and Lois now have children, so it’ll be interesting to see how that also affects the family dynamic. Take a look at Elizabeth Tulloch’s Instagram post below.

Full details on The CW’s Superman and Lois are being kept under wraps. The series is described as revolving “around the world’s most famous superhero and comics’ most famous journalist as they deal with all the stress, pressures and complexities that come with being working parents in today’s society.”

In addition to Tyler Hoechlin as Clark Kent and Elizabeth Tulloch as Lois Lane, Superman and Lois stars Jordan Elsass and Alexander Garfin as the sons of the titular charcaters, Dylan Walsh as General Sam Lane, Emmanuelle Chriqui as Lana Lang and Erik Valdez as Kyle Cushing. Written by The Flash’s Todd Helbing, the series will be executive produced by Helbing, Greg Berlanti, Sarah Schechter and Geoff Johns.
