After Nikola and GM announced a venture on September 8, GM stated it expected the deal to close by September 30. Currently September 30 has came, along with the deal has not closed.  Media reports imply the deal is not likely to shut now.

A GM spokesman affirmed the delay in an email to Ars. “Our trade with Nikola hasn’t closed. We’re continuing our talks with Nikola and provides additional updates when appropriate”

Also this afternoon, Nikola printed a revised summary  of their provider’s business plan. It spoke Nikola’s intends to fabricate semitrucks in Europe and also the USA, build a community of hydrogen gas stations, as well as plans for an electrical all-terrain car or truck. But conspicuously missing in the record was some mention of this Badger pickup truck– even the one which GM was designed to fabricate for Nikola beneath the now-delayed venture.
