BTS Climb The Walls, Get Into a Food Fight During ‘Home’ Performance on ‘Tonight Show’

The second night of BTS’ weeklong residency on The Tonight Show found the K-pop superstars visualizing what a lot of us are feeling right now. The group followed up Monday night’s twofer with a visually engaging performance of “Home” from last year’s Map of the Soul: Persona EP during which RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook went a little stir crazy while locked down in their swank apartment.

Stuck together in the spacious loft, the group rapped and sang the slow-burn song’s lyrics while walking up the walls of a bedroom that tilted on an axis as all seven tried to find their balance while keeping it chill in their pajamas and around-the-house loungewear. The tour of the space revealed clear panels in the upper level’s floors and a stocked kitchen that encouraged the most polite, least messy food fight in pop star history.

The chilled out performance ended with the gang gathering in the living room as confetti drifted down from the ceiling, they danced around on the couches and then flopped down, exhausted from their Home Alone together adventures.

“BTS Week” will include more performances, an interview and games with host Jimmy Fallon in the build-up to the Nov. 20 release of BE (Deluxe Edition), the follow-up to 2020’s Map of the Soul: 7.
