Next week, BTS will bring “Dynamite” and more explosive surprises for their week-long hosting gig at The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. But who should also have a takeover at the late-night show?
Ariana Grande took over an entire episode in 2018, but the Arianators wouldn’t complain if she got more air time throughout the course of the week as her fellow high-ponytail-wearing shallow socialite alter ego Cassandra. Selena Gomez already took on the wings of death with Fallon last year, thanks to Hot Ones host Sean Evans, so taking on the whole show for a week seems like a much easier feat.
James Corden previously handled over his The Late Late Show hosting duties to Justin Bieber around the time Changes came out in February, but he’s dropped a few hot collabs with Grande and Chance the Rapper since then. Maybe it’s time for the Biebs & co. to swoop through The Tonight Show. But if BLACKPINK was in your area (and by area, we mean TV screen with The Tonight Show on), they would be the first-ever K-pop girl group to host after becoming the first to ever appear on the late-night show in June.
