Tour de France 2020, Point 11 — Complete results and standings: Caleb Ewan sprints to Acquire since Primoz Roglic seizes yellow


Australian Caleb Ewan maintained his second victory in this year’s Tour de France once he awakened at a tightly-contested rush to acquire the 11th point, a 167.5-km trip from Chatelaillon-Plage on Wednesday. The Lotto-Soudal rider drove his bicycle on the line to conquer world champion Peter Sagan, that leaned over Belgian Wouth van Aert at the last stretch. Ireland’s Sam Bennett, who won Tuesday’s 10th stage and had been hoping to get a success in Poitiers in which compatriot Sean Kelly won to the Tour in 1978and took third location. Slovenian Primoz Roglic kept the overall leader’s yellow jersey after a relaxing afternoon at the main group. The Tour continues on Thursday with all the 218km jog from Chauvigny into Sarran Corrèz and finishes in Paris on September 20 using all the 122km point from Mantes-la-Jolie into Paris Champs-Élysées.
