DC newcomer Sasha Calle dons a Supergirl suit inspired by Henry Cavill’s Superman for her appearance in Ezra Miller’s The Flash.
The Flash solo film is shaping up to be an all-out Justice League movie with all the characters that will show up. For a while, we’ve known that Ezra Miller’s The Flash will feature two Batmans with Ben Affleck and the return of Michael Keaton. It’s unclear if Henry Cavill’s Superman will appear, but the DC project will also feature a new Supergirl with Sasha Calle in the role.
Production on The Flash is expected to begin soon in London, so we might not be far away from our first look at Sasha Calle in the Supergirl suit. In the meantime, digital artist Datrinti created awesome art of Sasha Calle as Supergirl in a suit inspired by Henry Cavill’s look from Batman v Superman. You can take a look at the stunning fan art that also imagines Calle with the traditional blonde Supergirl hair below:
Do you think Sasha Calle’s Supergirl will be from the same DC universe as Henry Cavill’s Superman? Do you like the blonde or brown hair look more? Share your thoughts in the comments section below!
The upcoming solo film will be inspired by the Flashpoint comic storyline which followed The Flash as he navigated an altered DC Universe. Written by Geoff Johns and penciled by Andy Kuber, Flashpoint radically altered the status of the DC Comics universe and led to the launch of the New 52 titles. It is currently unknown how much inspiration the upcoming Ezra Miller film will take from the comic.
Directed by Andy Muschietti from a script written by Birds of Prey scribe Christina Hodson, The Flash stars Ezra Miller, Michael Keaton, Ben Affleck, Sasha Calle, and Billy Crudup.
The Flash is set to hit theaters on June 3rd, 2022. Stay tuned for all the latest news on the DC Extended Universe and be sure to subscribe to Heroic Hollywood’s YouTube channel for more exclusive video content.
