Possible ‘Gotham Knights’ Release Window Surfaces

Gotham Knights Batman Warner Bros. Montreal DC

Gotham KnightsFans anticipating Warner Bros. Montreal’s Gotham Knights may now have a better idea for when the Bat-Family game will arrive.

During DC FanDome, Warner Bros. Montreal finally announced their long-rumored Court of Owls game with plenty of gameplay footage. However, the gameplay for Gotham Knights revealed Batman is dead and the story will instead follow the Bat-Family. When Gotham Knights was announced, it was listed as a 2021 release with no specific date, but a recent leak might give fans a better idea of when they can expect the game.

A listing for Gotham Knights surfaced on The Game Collection with a July 31, 2021 release date. Since July 31 is a Saturday and AAA games typically come out on Tuesdays and Fridays, many speculate this listing is for a release window for sometime in July. If the DC game is coming out this summer, a new trailer will probably be released in the coming months to confirm and build hype.

Will you be picking up the upcoming game? Do you think the game will be released this summer or will it be delayed? Feel free to share your thoughts in the comments section below!

Here is the synopsis for Gotham Knights from Warner Bros. Montreal:

Batman is dead. It is now up to the Batman Family – Batgirl, Nightwing, Red Hood and Robin – to protect Gotham City, bring hope to its citizens, discipline to its cops, and fear to its criminals. You must evolve into the new Dark Knight and save Gotham from chaos.

Gotham Knights is scheduled for a 2021 release and will be playable on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC.
