Henry Lennix recently confirmed he filmed his Martian Manhunter scenes with motion capture during the reshoots for Zack Snyder’s Justice League.
Several elements from the original version of Justice League will be restored for the Snyder Cut, and one that fans are highly anticipating is the DC Extended Universe debut of Martian Manhunter. In Zack Snyder’s Justice League, it will be revealed that Henry Lennix’s Calvin Swanwick from Man of Steel and Batman v Superman is in fact, Martian Manhunter.
In an interview with ComicBook.com, Henry Lennix confessed that he doesn’t know what Martian Manhunter will look like in the finished version of Zack Snyder’s Justice League because he filmed his scenes in the motion capture pajamas:
“Mo-cap. I don’t know what I’m going to look like. I don’t know what the body is going to look like and all that, but I’m thrilled to see it. That guy’s probably in good shape, for example. Honestly, I don’t know if it’s reverse engineering but I had the mo-cap [suit] on myself and I did the thing.”

Here is the official synopsis for Zack Snyder’s Justice League:
“In ZACK SNYDER’S JUSTICE LEAGUE, determined to ensure Superman’s (Henry Cavill) ultimate sacrifice was not in vain, Bruce Wayne (Ben Affleck) aligns forces with Diana Prince (Gal Gadot) with plans to recruit a team of metahumans to protect the world from an approaching threat of catastrophic proportions. The task proves more difficult than Bruce imagined, as each of the recruits must face the demons of their own pasts to transcend that which has held them back, allowing them to come together, finally forming an unprecedented league of heroes. Now united, Batman (Affleck), Wonder Woman (Gadot), Aquaman (Jason Momoa), Cyborg (Ray Fisher) and The Flash (Ezra Miller) may be too late to save the planet from Steppenwolf, DeSaad and Darkseid and their dreadful intentions.”
Directed by Zack Snyder, Justice League stars Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Gal Gadot, Ezra Miller, Jason Momoa, Ray Fisher, Jeremy Irons, Diane Lane, Connie Nielsen, J. K. Simmons, and Ciarán Hinds.
