Despite unusual visuals and unpredictable gameplay, these titles have achieved a cult following – it’s not a huge leap from the suspension of disbelief required to enjoy wrestling to the suspension of disbelief required to enjoy Wrestling Empire.
Englishman Dickie himself has a rather unusual reputation in the world of video gaming. He’s been described as “the best worst game developer” and has even been called gaming’s answer to The Room‘s Tommy Wiseau.
