Play Assassin’s Creed Valhalla During Free Play Days

Vikings, sharpen your blades and ready your longships, because Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is heading your way for its first Free Play Days weekend. From now until February 28, the game will be free to download and play on Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One. Players will have access to the full game for the duration of the free weekend, and progression will carry over for those who choose to buy Assassin’s Creed Valhalla after the Free Play Days event. It’ll be good practice for Dawn of Ragnarök, the biggest expansion in series history, which, along with Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Ragnarök Edition, is available now for preorder ahead of its March 10 launch.

In Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, you will assume the role of the legendary Viking warrior Eivor as they arrive on England’s shores in the ninth century. As they raid the countryside to build their settlement, Ravensthorpe, Eivor must navigate political turmoil and insidious Templar threats with skill – be it wisdom or a pair of deadly axes. As if the external pressures weren’t enough, Eivor must also navigate inner turmoil, reckoning with visions of Odin and other Norse gods as Asgard tries to defend itself from a fated demise. Dawn of Ragnarök, the largest expansion to date in the Assassin’s Creed franchise, will further the struggles of Asgard. Assassin’s Creed Valhalla players can explore a new world, the dwarven realm of Svartalfheim, which has been overrun by Jotun and Muspel hordes alike. Don’t worry though – if you want to jump straight to Dawn of Ragnarök’s story, the game can boost you to the recommended power level of 340.
