The Batman director Matt Reeves explained why he wanted to show Robert Pattinson wearing eyeliner in the film. The first trailer for The Batman shown at the first DC FanDome featured many striking images that gave us an idea of where Matt Reeves was taking the character. One of the images from the trailer fans were surprised by was the shot of Robert Pattinson’s Bruce Wayne wearing eyeliner.
