Getting the last laugh!
After being told to “put on a blouse” before boarding her flight to Cabo San Lucas on Thursday, Olivia Culpo clapped back with the shadiest post!!
If you missed it, while heading on a vacation to Mexico late last week, the former Miss Universe winner was called to her gate and instructed by American Airlines employees to “cover-up” before entering the plane. If she declined, she would be prohibited from boarding! What the heck?!

In video footage captured by her sister, Aurora Culpo, on her Instagram Story, Olivia was seen sporting a black bralette, biker shorts, and cardigan from Naked Cashmere. Despite all the fuss, it’s not that crazy of an outfit. Take a look at the fit that caused a fit (below).
Totally reasonable gym clothes, right? Everything is covered up. Who cares, right? Aurora told followers:
“She looks cute. She looks appropriate. No. They call her up to the desk and tell her that she needs to put a blouse on otherwise she can’t get on the plane. Tell me that is not so f**ked up.”
In another clip, the media personality was shown obeying the orders by covering up with a hoodie. But she then struck up a conversation with another passenger who was wearing almost an identical outfit — and she wasn’t told to cover up despite admitting her shirt was lower cut than Olivia’s!! The other flyer simply mused:
“That’s weird.”
Take a look at the other passenger’s clothes!
American Airlines doesn’t have a very defined dress code, but their policy does state that flyers should “dress appropriately” and “bare feet or offensive clothing aren’t allowed.” But who’s the judge on that??
Clearly, the 29-year-old was having a tough time getting over the incident while vacationing in Mexico because she took to her IG a few days later to make fun of the absurd situation. Posing in a nude body-con dress by Aya Muse, cut open on the side and held together by bow-tied strings, she captioned a new set of pics on Saturday:
“Please use caution while using the [overhead] bins as items may have shifted during flight.”
Just a biiiiit more revealing than that original outfit! LOLz!! Fans were quick to pick up on the shady message, responding:
“You handled that like a pro!”
“You should wear this back on your flight and see what they say.”
Thoughts, Perezcious readers? Are you surprised American Airlines had a problem with her outfit? Let us know (below)!
