Dua Lipa and Anwar Hadid have reportedly broken up!
According to an insider who spoke with Deux Moi, the couple is now a FORMER couple! The Levitating vocalist has been busy making new music in London and LA-based studios while Gigi and Bella Hadid’s younger brother has been living in New York City. After a rocky few weeks in which the duo didn’t see each other in person for quite a while, it sounds like long-distance proved too much to bear, even after over two years together.
Reporting on the split, The Sun suggested Dua and Anwar haven’t been face-to-face in eight weeks (!!!) because of their work schedules — tough for young lovers who spent most of their relationship in close quarters during lockdown!

Last month, as things looked to be going downhill for the pair, a source told the outlet:
“The couple floated the idea about putting the brakes on their romance last month as traveling so much and being apart is proving tough. Their relationship is going through a crisis and appears to be on the rocks.”
While neither of the newly single celebs has commented on the split publicly, the 22-year-old model did post a cryptic message to Instagram thanking his friends and family for “guiding my steps, allowing me to learn to be happy with myself.”
The pop sensation has been giving clues to the rumored breakup in her own way — by posting stunning thirst traps for all to see!! For the last few days, the 26-year-old’s IG feed has been filled with drool-worthy pics from her girls’ Christmas trip at the Soho Farmhouse in Oxfordshire. Just take a look!
On Tuesday, she also teased fans with some throwback bikini videos!

Even if the split was amicable, we’d expect this to be a little tougher a breakup. The couple had been together since 2019, but kept their relationship out of the public eye as much as possible, except for the occasional post. Last year, the Brit also hunkered down with the Cali native at his family’s Pennsylvania farm to isolate during the pandemic.
But hey, we guess they had two whole months to get used to not being around each other, right? Sometimes absence makes the heart grow colder.
