Tom Holland Pokes Fun At Tobey Maguire & Andrew Garfield Rumors In ‘Spider-Man’ Tickets Promo

Tom Holland hilariously brought up the rumors that suggest Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield are in Spider-Man: No Way Home in a new promo video.

In case you missed it, tickets for Spider-Man: No Way Home are available to purchase almost all around the world. The event caused numerous exhibitor sites to crash, so if you haven’t gotten your tickets, the storm’s calmed down, and you’ll be good to go. To celebrate the release of tickets being made available, Spider-Man brought along two special friends in a promotional video.

No, the friends aren’t Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield. But the rumored stars are hinted at in the hilarious promo, which features Tom Holland, Zendaya, and Jacob Batalon. In the promo, Holland and his co-stars consistently hint that two other individuals should be there, without mentioning any specific names.

In addition to tickets being made available today, it was also revealed that Tom Holland is set to stay on as Spider-Man for the foreseeable future. Should the rumors of Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield returning manifest, it will be interesting to see if they become mainstays in the Marvel Cinematic Universe or if their appearances are just one-offs.

Here is the synopsis for Spider-Man: No Way Home:

For the first time in the cinematic history of Spider-Man, our friendly neighborhood hero is umasked and no longer able to separate his normal life from the high-stakes of being a Super Hero. When he asks for help from Doctor Strange the stakes become even more dangerous, forcing him to discover what it truly means to be Spider-Man.

Directed by Jon Watts from a script written by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers, Marvel’s latest stars Tom Holland, Zendaya, Jacob Batalon, Tony Revolori, Martin Starr, J.B. Smoove, Marisa Tomei, Jon Favreau, Benedict Wong, Benedict Cumberbatch, and Alfred Molina.
