New photos from Disney Plus’ upcoming Star Wars series The Book Of Boba Fett tease Temuera Morrison’s long-awaited solo adventure as the franchise’s most iconic bounty hunter.
It’s hard to believe that we live in a world where Boba Fett is not only back, but he’s getting his own solo series. Set to debut this December, just before New Year’s, The Book of Boba Fett will see the iconic Star Wars character back in Tatooine, holding Jabba The Hutt’s throne. Joining Bobba Fett will be Fennec Shand, who has been in the bounty hunter’s service since The Mandalorian.
To tease Temuera Morrison’s return to the Star Wars franchise, Empire has released two new photos for the upcoming series. The first photo shows Boba Fett and Fennec Shand standing outside of Jabba’s palace, with one of his grunting guards in the background.
The second photo is a behind-the-scenes look at one of the Star Wars series’ action sequences.
The outlet also released a brand new Boba Fett-focused cover for their latest issue. Funnily enough, this is one of the few promotional images that shows Fett actually hooded.
Here is the synopsis for the upcoming Star Wars series:
The Book of Boba Fett, a thrilling Star Wars adventure, finds legendary bounty hunter Boba Fett and mercenary Fennec Shand navigating the Galaxy’s underworld when they return to the sands of Tatooine to stake their claim on the territory once ruled by Jabba the Hutt and his crime syndicate.
Jon Favreau, Dave Filoni, Robert Rodriguez, and Kathleen Kennedy are all executive producers on The Mandalorian spin-off with episodes directed by Rodriguez, Favreau, Filoni, and Bryce Dallas Howard. The series stars Temuera Morrison, Ming-Na Wen, and Jennifer Beals.
The Book of Boba Fett will arrive on December 29 on Disney Plus. Stay tuned for all the latest news on the future of the Star Wars franchise on Disney Plus and the big screen. You can also subscribe to Heroic Hollywood’s YouTube channel for more original video content!
