While promoting Wonder Woman 1984, Patty Jenkins has been pretty open about her experience working on the projects. For instance, she has talked about Warner Bros. changing the third act of the first film, wanting to cut the first two sequences in the sequel, and more. However, Jenkins is set to return for a third Wonder Woman film after the recent debut of the second film on HBO Max.
In addition to some of the comments Patty Jenkins has made, there were also articles suggesting that the filmmaker went to “war” with the studio over her Wonder Woman films. On Twitter, Jenkins clarified her comments and shared that she has received nothing but support from Warner Bros., Zack Snyder, and the other producers involved with the projects:
I felt extremely supported in my vision on both films by @wbpictures, @ZackSnyder all the producers and everyone on board our eventual team. Just was a long road to get to make it. Let’s chill the dramatic headlines like “war”. https://t.co/V7Tj1rOTBS

Diana Prince lives quietly among mortals in the vibrant, sleek 1980s — an era of excess driven by the pursuit of having it all. Though she’s come into her full powers, she maintains a low profile by curating ancient artifacts, and only performing heroic acts incognito. But soon, Diana will have to muster all of her strength, wisdom and courage as she finds herself squaring off against Maxwell Lord and the Cheetah, a villainess who possesses superhuman strength and agility.
Directed by Patty Jenkins from a script she co-wrote with David Callaham and a treatment she developed with Geoff Johns, the film stars Gal Gadot, Chris Pine, Kristen Wiig, Pedro Pascal, Natasha Rothwell, Ravi Patel, Gabriella Wilde, Connie Nielson, and Robin Wright.
Wonder Woman 1984 is now available on HBO Max and in select theaters. Stay tuned for all the latest news surrounding the DC Extended Universe and be sure to subscribe to Heroic Hollywood’s YouTube channel for more exclusive video content!
