Jameela Jamil shared a new behind-the-scenes image with the stunt team for Marvel Studios’ She-Hulk.
On Disney Plus Day, a slew of exciting reveals from Marvel Studios dropped. We got glimpses at the upcoming Hawkeye series as well as Moon Knight and She-Hulk. A small bit of footage from She-Hulk gave us our first glimpse at Tatiana Maslany as the titular heroine along with her cousin, Dr. Bruce Banner (Mark Ruffalo). One of the show’s stars, Jameela Jamil expressed excitement over the reveals.
Jameela Jamil, who will play Titania in She-Hulk celebrated the reveals with a special behind-the-scenes photo alongside her stunt team. She expresses a desire for stunt teams to be honored at the main awards ceremonies rather than in events that don’t air on television:
Jameela Jamil also shared a photo of her hanging out with She-Hulk co-stars Tatiana Maslany and Ginger Gozanga:
She-Hulk stars Tatiana Maslany as Jennifer Walters, Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner, Jameela Jamil as Titania, Tim Roth as the Abomination, Ginger Gonzaga and Renee Elise-Goldsberry.
In the comics, She-Hulk is the alter-ego of Jennifer Walters, a private attorney and the cousin of Bruce Banner. After being shot, Jennifer Walters receives a blood transfusion from Bruce who was the only viable donor. The transfusion had the unintended side effect of transforming her into the gamma-powered She-Hulk. However, unlike most incarnations of Bruce Banner’s Hulk, Jennifer Walters retains her sharp wit and emotional control in her She-Hulk form, which later becomes permanent.
Marvel Studios’ upcoming slate of films includes Spider-Man: No Way Home, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, and Thor: Love and Thunder. In addition to the aforementioned feature films and She-Hulk series, Marvel Studios is developing several shows for Disney Plus, including Hawkeye, Ms. Marvel, Moon Knight, Secret Invasion, Ironheart, Armor Wars, The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special, Echo, Agatha: House of Harkness, Spider-Man: Freshman Year, Marvel Zombies and X-Men ’97.
She-Hulk is currently slated for a 2022 release on Disney Plus. Stay tuned for all the latest news on Marvel’s upcoming Disney Plus original series and be sure to subscribe to Heroic Hollywood’s YouTube channel for more original video content!
