The first official poster for Spider-Man: No Way Home has been spotted in public.
It’s almost hard to believe it but we’re just a month and change away from seeing Spider-Man: No Way Home. The film is expected to be a live-action take on Spider-Verse by introducing villains and heroes from previous Spider-Man films. Details on the film are slim, though to be fair, we want to go into the threequel as blind as possible.
The marketing for Spider-Man: No Way Home has been quite conservative, with only one trailer being released in the last two months. Things appear to be ramping up as a Reddit user snagged a photo of the first official poster.
The poster is definitely a step above some of the previous Spider-Man posters we’ve gotten from Sony. The one-sheet sees Peter Parker in a defensive position as Doctor Octopus’ tentacles come to attack him. Behind Spider-Man is a trippy look at New York folding onto itself, similarly to the scenes seen in Doctor Strange. With the marketing ramping up, we can expect brand new posters coming our way and potentially a brand new trailer before the mid-December release.
Here is the synopsis for Spider-Man: No Way Home:
“For the first time in the cinematic history of Spider-Man, our friendly neighborhood hero is umasked and no longer able to separate his normal life from the high-stakes of being a Super Hero. When he asks for help from Doctor Strange the stakes become even more dangerous, forcing him to discover what it truly means to be Spider-Man.”
Directed by Jon Watts from a script written by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers, Spider-Man: No Way Home stars Tom Holland, Zendaya, Jacob Batalon, Tony Revolori, Martin Starr, J.B. Smoove, Marisa Tomei, Jon Favreau, Benedict Wong, Benedict Cumberbatch, and Alfred Molina.
Spider-Man: No Way Home will hit theaters on December 17, 2021. Stay tuned for all the latest news surrounding the film and be sure to subscribe to Heroic Hollywood’s YouTube channel for more original video content.
