A brand new t-shirt for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness features our best look yet at the elusive America Chavez.
With the floodgates of the multiverse wide open, Doctor Strange has no choice but to repair it and get some help along the way. One of the most exciting components of the upcoming Doctor Strange sequel is how Scarlett Witch will be joining the good doctor on his journey to handle the multiversal mess. Joining Benedict Cumberbatch is his trusty ally and fellow sorcerer Wong, as well as America Chavez, one of the latest additions to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Not much is known about how America Chavez factors into the Doctor Strange sequel. In the comics, America Chavez possesses the ability to create portals that allow her to travel to other dimensions and parts of the multiverse. It’s likely that Chavez’s unique abilities will force Doctor Strange to recruit her on his perilous journey.
With the film’s release inching closer and closer every day, a brand new promotional t-shirt has been released that gives us our best look yet at America Chavez.
Standing alongside America Chavez and Doctor Strange are Wong and Scarlet Witch, two characters who will be joining Chavez and Strange on their mission through the chaotic multiverse.
Details on Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness are currently limited, though it is said to feature horror elements. Furthermore, the Disney Plus miniseries WandaVision also served as the lead-in to the sequel. Scott Derrickson is still attached to the film as an executive producer, with Sam Raimi set to direct from a script written by Michael Waldron. The sequel will star Benedict Cumberbatch, Benedict Wong, Elizabeth Olsen, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Rachel McAdams, and Xochitl Gomez.
Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness will be released on March 25th, 2022. Meanwhile, all episodes of Elizabeth Olsen’s WandaVision are available to stream on Disney Plus.
