New promotional art from Spider-Man: No Way Home shows Spidey’s updated Doctor Strange-inspired suit.
Spider-Man: No Way Home is set to be one of the biggest films Marvel Studios has ever put out to date. Not only will the film round out Tom Holland’s Spidey trilogy, but t will also introduce elements previously unseen. A variety of villains from previous Spider-Man films like Alfred Molina’s Doctor Octopus will be popping up thanks to the multiverse opening up thanks to Doctor Strange’s spell, which was teased in the first trailer.
The film will also see Spidey rocking multiple new outfits, including a sleek black suit that is clearly inspired by Doctor Strange. It appears that the good doctor himself might have even created and enchanted the suit for Peter Parker. Fans have speculated this suit will allow Spidey the opportunity to jump between realms to seal off the multiverse.
A merchandise listing from Tilibra showed the brand new promo art. In the photo, Spidey can be seen in the black and gold-lined suit, shooting a yellow laser beam from a wrist bracelet of sorts.
This suit is a variation of a black and gold-lined suit that was revealed earlier this year. Notably, the biggest change is that the colors of the Doctor Strange-inspired elements on the suit are now a bright yellow as opposed to a cold blue. While it’s unclear why this change was made, and if it will be reflected in the final film, it’s obvious that the yellow color is more in line with Doctor Strange’s visuals rather than the blue.
Here is the synopsis for Tom Holland’s Spider-Man: No Way Home:
“For the first time in the cinematic history of Spider-Man, our friendly neighborhood hero is unmasked and no longer able to separate his normal life from the high-stakes of being a Super Hero. When he asks for help from Doctor Strange the stakes become even more dangerous, forcing him to discover what it truly means to be Spider-Man.”
Directed by Jon Watts from a script written by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers, No Way Home stars Tom Holland, Zendaya, Jacob Batalon, Tony Revolori, Martin Starr, J.B. Smoove, Marisa Tomei, Jon Favreau, Benedict Wong, Benedict Cumberbatch, and Alfred Molina.
No Way Home is currently set to be released on December 17, 2021. Stay tuned for all the latest news surrounding the film and be sure to subscribe to Heroic Hollywood’s YouTube channel for more original video content.
