The wrap gifts from Tom Hiddleston’s Loki tease that a storyline from the comics has been adapted for the Disney Plus series.
The first full trailer for Loki suggested that a fan-favorite storyline from the comics is coming to the Disney Plus show, with a brief shot of the God of Mischief seemingly running for President. And the wrap presents from the series for the cast and crew seems to confirm the theory. The four-part series from 2016, Vote Loki, saw the villain attempt to become President of the United States while a Daily Bugle reporter tries to prove that he’s up to no good.
The photo of the gifts from Tom Hiddleston’s Loki series show off a mug featuring art from the comic series which parodies presidential campaign imagery. Both the patch and the mug use the phrase “Glorious Purpose,” which calls back to the villain’s appearance in the first Avengers film when he says “I am burdened with glorious purpose” as he arrives on Earth. The series has quickly become an intriguing project, especially since it seemingly answers a long-standing real-world conspiracy theory. Take a look at the gifts below.
