Daniel Craig has revealed what he will miss the most about playing the iconic British spy, James Bond.
Daniel Craig first took on the role of James Bond in the 2006 film, Casino Royale and despite thinking his audition was a joke, the actor has become the 21st-century version of James Bond. Since then he has gone back and forth about whether or not he would play the character ever again, citing numerous injuries he has received while filming them. His latest and final 007 film, No Time To Die, has been praised by critics, who call it a fitting end to his tenure as the character, and Craig is already missing the role.
In a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly, Daniel Craig opened up about his time as James Bond. When asked what he was going to miss the most about the character, he admitted that he was going to miss everything about it:
“I’ll miss everything, I think. I’ll miss the collaboration. I mean, hopefully I’ll keep working and I’ll have lots of other lovely jobs, but it’s very, very, very rare air. Apart from Marvel movies, there aren’t movies that are as big as this. I’ve had the privilege of being involved in it. … It was there before me, and it will be there after me. But I’ve had a chance to be part of all of this, and if you can’t get it up for a Bond movie as an actor, what can you get it up for? So, yeah, I’ll miss it a lot.”
