Channel 4’s upcoming reboot of the cult video game show GamesMaster has gone and got itself a presenter, as today it’s been announced that Scottish comedian, writer, filmmaker and poet, Robert Florence, will be taking over as host when it relaunches later this year. Robert will be joined by Frankie Ward and Ty Logan as co-hosts.
Currently comprised of three 60 minute episodes that focus on celebrities doing battle against one another in an effort to reign supreme, the new show will be aired on E4’s YouTube channel before being broadcast on E4 proper. We still don’t know exactly when we’ll get to see this modern take on an iconic show that’s been off the air for 23 years now (!) or indeed who will assume the legendary mantle of the actual GamesMaster, but we’ll keep you all posted as soon as we have any further information.
