Early Reactions Call ‘No Time To Die’ A Fitting End For Daniel Craig’s James Bond

Early reactions to the latest James Bond film, No Time To Die are calling the movie a fitting end to Daniel Craig’s era of 007.

Daniel Craig first appeared as James Bond in the 2005 franchise reboot, Casino Royale. The film was regarded as one of the best installments in years and was arguably the shot in the arm that the franchise needed to bring it into the 21st Century. The following films, however, were met with more mixed success.

The second Daniel Craig James Bond film, Quantum Of Solace was negatively compared to its predecessor. The third film, Skyfall, was highly praised by critics and became the highest-grossing James Bond film of all time. Its follow-up, Spectre, followed this bizarre path of the even-numbered Daniel Craig James Bond films with the movie underwhelming fans and critics. Now, after a delay that has lasted for nearly a year and a half, critics are finally seeing Daniel Craig’s final James Bond film, No Time To Die.

Like the previous odd-numbered films, the reactions to No Time To Die have, so far, been extremely positive calling it a fitting and perfect end to Daniel Craig’s era of James Bond:

So #NoTimeToDie is AWESOME! Classic Bond, classic villain, classic gadgets & a story that seems to question how much we still need James Bond to save the day. Terrific writing & stunning direction from Cary Joji Fukunaga. Loved every second! A perfect finale for Daniel Craig pic.twitter.com/tZr1JRMhqh

#NoTimeToDie is a fitting finale to Daniel Craig’s Bond. It often feels like a throwback while still pushing the franchise further. Cary Fukunaga’s direction is inspired to the brim. It may stumble here and there, but it quickly bounces back and makes up for it (1/3) pic.twitter.com/0CWWuUPo4I

NO TIME TO DIE: James Bond is back again, and that means fans can expect three things: guns, gadgets and girls. The latest 007 adventure will leave audiences both shaken AND stirred. This is one secret agent who hasn’t lost his license to thrill. #NoTimeToDie

#NoTimeToDie is a fun farewell to what Daniel Craig has given to this franchise while giving him a satisfying conclusion. I will say the second half of the film does lose its steam as the film isn’t quite sure what It wants to be. But overall I was happy to be along for the ride. pic.twitter.com/uwO7Lyfzqk
