Oh no, not this again.
This kind of flimsy rumour is something we’d normally toss right in the “terrible ideas for a news post” pile, but… it is Nintendo Direct day, and suddenly we find ourselves digging through the same pile for evidence of what to expect. You see, right before a Direct, much like the eye of a storm, the normal news cycle goes dead silent, and we’re left to speculate.
One of our sources is the Nintendo Switch eShop itself, which begins to clear space for all the new game deliveries that are about to happen — and what should we spy during a routine check, but Bayonetta and Bayonetta 2 prominently displayed on the EU eShop front page? How very interesting. What could it mean?
