The Punisher star Jon Bernthal leaves Frank Castle behind to replace Hugh Jackman as Wolverine in a slick concept design.
Although most Marvel fans would like to see Jon Bernthal be given the chance to reprise his role as The Punisher either in a Disney Plus series or on the big screen, a concept design pictures him as the next actor to pick up Wolverine’s Adamantium claws after Hugh Jackman. Bernthal joins a list of actors like Antony Starr, Taron Egerton and Daniel Radcliffe as candidates fans would like to see play Wolverine in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
It’s easy to imagine Jon Bernthal replacing Hugh Jackman as Wolverine, especially with his gruff voice alongside that incredible performance in The Punisher. If it came down to picking between the two roles, it seems likely that the star would pick Frank Castle, since he’s previously mentioned that he’d love to return for a third season of the show.
