Zack Snyder is busy finishing up his cut of Justice League and Netflix’s Army of the Dead, but he’s a had a ton of time to discuss what’s to come. The director has been doing a few interviews on various YouTube channels where he revealed a ton of new information.

The latest tidbit to come out of the interviews is exactly how the director originally intended on releasing the film. While talking with the Film Junkee channel, Snyder revealed that Justice League would have looked very different than what we’re going to get. Here’s what he had to say:

My ideal version of the movie is the black and white IMAX version of the movie. That, to me, is the most fan-centric, most pure, most Justice League experience. Because that’s how I lived with the movie for two years, in black and white…when I do the live-stream of the trailer, Steph and I colored a black and white version of the trailer.
