Brad Winderbaum will oversee all of Marvel Studios’ various projects hitting Disney Plus for the foreseeable future.
Kevin Feige has long been the face of Marvel Studios, but as the Marvel Cinematic Universe grows to other mediums, others at the studio are finding themselves in new positions of power. Disney Plus will play a significant role in the future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and The Hollywood Reporter revealed Brad Winderbaum would be leading it.
Marvel Studios’ Brad Winderbaum has been with the company since 2007 and has climbed up the ladder at the studio behind the scenes. Winderbaum has been involved in several Marvel projects over the years as a co-producer on Ant-Man and an executive producer on What If…?, Black Widow, and the One-Shots. Kevin Feige is still the President and CEO of Marvel Studios, but it’s clear the man in the hat can’t juggle all of the projects in the pipeline since they are producing more than ever before.
A plethora of Marvel Studios shows are on the horizon for Disney Plus, which includes Hawkeye, Ms. Marvel, Moon Knight, She-Hulk, Secret Invasion, Ironheart, Armor Wars, I Am Groot, a Wakanda series, second seasons of Loki and What If…?, and more animated shows in the future.
Here is the synopsis for What If…?:
“Exploring pivotal moments from the Marvel Cinematic Universe and turning them on their head, leading the audience into uncharted territory.”
The animated series will feature the voices of Josh Brolin, Natalie Portman, Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston, Samuel L. Jackson, Jeremy Renner, Paul Rudd, Mark Ruffalo, Chadwick Boseman, Jeffrey Wright, Hayley Atwell, and other major stars from the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
New episodes of What If…? will hit Disney Plus every Wednesday. Stay tuned for all the latest news on the new series, and be sure to subscribe to Heroic Hollywood’s YouTube channel for more original video content.
